core principles

Bible Believing

We believe that the Bible is the written Word of God; inspired by the Holy Spirit to tell one unified story of how God is restoring all things to himself in Christ. Therefore, the Bible is our supreme authority with regards to teaching, direction and discernment. It is the primary way in which God speaks to us and the benchmark by which we test everything we hear and receive.

Gospel Centred

As a church, we find our purpose in the good news about Jesus Christ - in the victory of his life, death and resurrection - and allow it to transform and shape all that we do. In Christ, the Kingdom of God is at hand, redeeming and restoring that which was lost.

As a church, we unashamedly preach the gospel; knowing that it is the power of God to bring salvation to all who believe (Romans 1:16) and hope for the world.

Spirit Led

Being Spirit led means allowing space for God to empower and direct our lives and our ministries so that they align with his plans and purposes.

We want to be a church that continually seeks the Lord; that listens to his voice and steps out in faith knowing he has already gone before us. We want to see the church moving in the power the Spirit, exercising the gifts he has given us.

Community Focused

Being community focused means we prioritise mission and look to intentionally build relationships with people in our community that don’t know Jesus.

We want to be a church that genuinely loves and cares for our local community; having an active presence and authentically engaging with our neighbours. A church that offers compassionate and practical support, while creating opportunities for people to receive the gospel and encounter God for themselves.
