Welcome to Arise! Our kids ministry at EV
As a church we’re passionate about our young people and their families. Our heart is to see them ARISE and soar as they come to know Jesus and understand their identity as children of God. The church is made up of many parts and we believe that our kids have a powerful role to play in what God is doing here at EV. Our aim is to create a fun, safe space for them to worship God and experience the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives. We’d love for you to come and join in!
Arise! on Sundays
Most weeks all our primary aged children (Hawks & Eagles) meet in the lower hall for JAM (Jesus And Me) for a time of sung worship – with lots of energy, dancing and singing!
After JAM, we break into groups for a mix of games, crafts, Bible stories, teaching and lots more fun!
On the fourth Sunday of each month our children stay in the service for sung worship and communion. We believe it’s important for the whole church family to share this time together. After communion the children then head to their age groups (there is no JAM on this Sunday).
*All our children’s ministry is led by adults with a heart to see children thrive in their walk with God and are DBS checked.
Our groups
Our little ones have a group which runs from the soft play room at the back of our church hall. This takes place after the sung worship.

If you are a parent of children or youth in the church, we strongly encourage you to sign up to volunteer on either the kids or youth team. We believe it’s important for you to see what your children are getting up to each week and for the children to see you supporting the ministry. Children’s ministry is the place to be!
