Terms & Conditions
Definitions:
“Users” / “You” - All users of the facility including monthly Members or Pay as you go.
“We” / “Facility” -Enfield Vineyard (EV) Gym.
“Member/s” - Monthly payment users.
“Membership Fee” - The amount you are required to pay monthly for membership.
“Pay as you go” - Users who pay online the applicable fee for a one off one-hour session.
“Health Commitment Statement” - Your health is your responsibility. The staff are passionate about empowering you to transform your life and to help you make the most of our facilities. The Health Commitment Statement is what we can reasonably expect of each other which all Users must read and agree to.
“Website” - www.enfieldvineyardchurch.com/gym
“EV Gym Rules” - Code of conduct displayed in the gym and on the website.
1. Principle Terms
1.1 This agreement is between You and Us and starts when you become a Member or use the facilities on a Pay as you go basis.
1.2 The minimum age to use the Facility or become a member is 16.
1.3 We reserve the right to alter the operating hours and fees and will attempt to give all Users at least two weeks’ notice.
1.4 Opening hours are displayed on the website.
2. Membership
2.1 You can become a Member of EV Gym by signing up online through the website. By completing the sign-up process, you agree to the terms and conditions set out in this document.
2.2 In becoming a Member you agree to ongoing monthly payments of the Membership Fee starting from the date of purchase. Payment is to be made by credit or debit card online. There is no cash payment facility.
2.3 You can cancel your membership online at any time. Membership fees are not refundable. Membership is not transferable.
2.4 We reserve the right to reject any application for membership without giving a reason for doing so.
2.5 You will only be able to use the Facility provided you have fully paid in advance.
2.6 Members are required to sign in at the reception desk on each visit.
2.7 Each gym session is 60 minutes long. Due to the capacity of the gym, we ask that all Members exercise within this time frame to allow other Members and Pay as you go Users access to the Facilities.
2.8 For the health and safety of all Users, we have a maximum capacity of 14 people on the gym floor at any one time. If a session is at capacity we reserve the right to refuse entry until it is safe to do so.
3. Termination
3.1 We may terminate this agreement:
If you commit a serious or repeated breach of this agreement.
If your fee is unpaid.
If you provide us with details which you know to be false when booking or applying for membership.
If you engage in any illegal activity or activity which we deem to be unacceptable behaviour.
3.2 EV Gym reserves the right to adjust the availability of certain facilities or close the facilities on a temporary basis for the general purpose of cleaning, decorating, essential repairs, maintenance of equipment, special functions, staff training and holidays.
3.3 Membership refunds will not be made in the event of any ad-hoc closures due to maintenance issues.
4. Restriction of Liability
4.1 We will not accept liability for any loss, damage to or theft of money, valuables, or other personal property.
4.2 Property stored in the lockers provided is at the owner’s risk and no liability for loss or damage will be accepted by Us.
5. Health and Safety
5.1 All Users must read all Health and Safety notices displayed in the Facility and comply with their recommendations.
5.2 Appropriate clothing must be worn when using the Facility (no jeans, street shoes, boots).
5.3 No food or drink is to be consumed on the gym floor (other than water).
5.4 We have a zero-tolerance policy on the use, sale or purchase of illegal drugs or non-prescription steroids on the premises and reserves the right to eject, terminate and ban anyone contravening this.
5.4 All Users must sign a Health Commitment Statement before using the Facility. If You are unable to sign you must provide a doctor’s note stating you are well enough to exercise.
5.5 All Users must comply with the EV Gym Rules.
6. Your Personal Data
6.1 Access to all personal data collected from you is dealt with in accordance with Enfield Vineyard Church’s privacy agreement which can be viewed on our website and the Data Protection Act 2018.
7. Amendments to Terms
7.1 We may amend these terms and conditions at any time with reasonable notice.
